I’ve been keeping track of days by counting
hangovers and bottles on the floor
I know what guilt is. It's one of those touchy-feely words
that people throw around that don't really mean anything.
You know, like "maternal" or "addiction."
Make every breath be beautiful;
have some class; have some grace; be poetic.
You’re going to die eventually;
it could be any day, and that's the beauty of it.
You don't know when you will;
so life becomes a mystery, life becomes a novel.

me your friend. If you did this to a
friend, I’d hate to see what you'd
do to an enemy

If you love someone

Skip instead of a walk. Order a diet water wherever
you are, and ask with a serious face. When the
money comes out of the ATM machine scream, "I
won, I won!" And when you leave the zoo, run
towards the parking lot yelling, "Run for your lives!
They're loose!" Live life crazy.
I needed a believer,
and you needed to believe.
Be nice to everyone you meet
they might be fighting a battle you know nothing about
Because some people hold on when they should really let go.
What if the boy holding your hand
and the boy holding your heart
aren't the same one?
Sometimes I lie awake at night, & I ask,
"Is life a multiple choice test or is it a true or false test?"
Then a voice comes to me out of the dark & says,
"We hate to tell you this, but life is a thousand word essay."
And we help each other to realize that everything we want to be; we already are.
Throughout a girl's life she'll kiss a lot of guys
&& I promise you she'll forget over half of them.
She'll remember a few, and regret a couple.
But, there will be that one guy, that one moment
that she'll remember for the rest of her life
